A Mortal Love [Summary] After the battle at Helm's Deep Haldir is found barely alive. He returns from the Halls of Mandos, but his life force has greatly lessened. In order to bring him back a bond is created between Haldir and Éomer, the first drawing strength from the other. They slowly get to know and understand each other.

By Any Means Necessary [Summary] An alliance is needed between Imladris and Mirkwood, but Thranduil refuses to even talk to Elrond about a truce. Elrond, vexed, sends Erestor to establish such an alliance and tells him 'by any means necessary'. Erestor takes that rather literally.
Dinîf en Qualen [Summary] Erestor and Glorfindel are sent to Lothlorien to assist Celeborn now Galadriel is sailing for Valinor. On their way to 'Lorien they are surprised by a violent storm in which Glorfindel is injured. It is now up to Erestor to take them into safety and Glorfindel sees beneath the face of neutrality Erestor usually wears. Side Stories and Spin-offs:
Glorfindel Sleeping [Summary] Glorfindel finds Elrond likes to draw him when he is asleep.
Glorfindel's Darkest Hour [Summary] Saruman plans to breed a new, even stronger race of Uruk-Hai and wants Glorfindel, the Balrog Slayer for this experiment. When Glorfindel is taken by the Wizard's creatures, Erestor is determined to rescue his friend.
Heart In Chains [Summary] Who is Erestor and what happened to him in his long life? What caused him to save Elrond's life when the High-King died, leaving his lover alone and hurting? Although there are some references to the Silmarillon, I am no expert in these matters and mostly depend on information supplied to me by Ilye and my beta Sulien, who I want to thank for beta reading this monster. So excuse me if I stay vague at times. This story is of course AU. If you have questions about the story lines, times etc, I will forward them to Sulien, because she knows much more about these matters.
"Inside the Darkness" Story-Arc Inside the Darkness [Pairing] Lurtz/Legolas and Elrond/Glorfindel Acceptance [Pairing] Lurtz/Legolas, Elrond/Glorfindel, Thranduil/Elladan, and Erestor/Elrohir
Last Chance [Summary] This story will be completely Alternate Universe and I won't follow Tolkien's writings when dealing with reincarnation! Driven mad by loneliness after Celebrian sails for Valinor, Elrond challenges the Valar to return Gil-galad to him, but is Glorfindel of Gondolin who gets a last chance at life.
Second Chances [Summary] Elros miraculously returns to his twin to work out past issues and Glorfindel has to deal with a bedridden chief advisor in a bad mood!
Silent Heart [Summary] At Helm's Deep Rumil loses his two brothers to the swords of the Uruk-Hai. After the battle is done he is stricken with grief and sent to Imladris to recover, hoping Elrond's healing abilities can help, but it are the twins and more importantly Glorfindel who are there for Rumil. In the meantime Elrond and Erestor are captured by Orcs and Uruk-Hai who plan to raid Imladris. They know one of the Elves is, Elrond, ruler of Imladris, and plan on getting the information they need. Erestor, fearful that they will hurt Elrond, whom he secretly loves, takes Elrond's place and gets hurt in the process.
Sometimes Dreams Come True [Summary] I had a few scenes still lying around and made it into a fictlet.
The Test of the Fellowship [Summary] When Legolas gets wounded in battle he keeps it to himself, not wanting to slow them down. His secrecy has terrible consequences. © Noire Sensus | ||
